Matt’s Model Cabinet Mk.3
This is a development holding page while I figure out how this “stuff” works.
Due in part to renewal costs on previous host and in part to limitation imposed I am trying my hand at invading the cloud again, please bear with me as I fumble my way around. All feedback is gratefully received
Thanks for visiting, I have put the site up as a place to store images of “most” of my builds, some are quite old, so please be gentle, some I managed to make a hash of and some seem to go really well, whatever you think, I know they are not museum quality or award winning, but I enjoyed making them. Model making is, to me at least, as much about the journey and experience as it is about the finished subject. If you fancy a go don’t be put off, we all started somewhere. There are countless video tutorials on-line and even some places that run classes, should the inclination take you there is also the International Plastic Modellers Society (www.ipms.org).
I was very lucky and found a local club that won’t take themselves seriously, has a wide range in talent, covering many diverse subjects and skill levels, but has none of the egos (well almost…) It is a hobby, not a job. If you’re struggling with a kit, put it away and start another one, if it takes five years to finish the only person who cares is most likely you. (Unless it actually is your job, then stop whinging, make a cuppa and get on with it slacker.) Feel free to browse and enjoy. On the off chance you find yourself in north Oxfordshire on the 3rd Thursday of the month, look us up
